Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Skills Check is part two of the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode BLS course or annual skills check for Atrium Health teammates.  

This course is appropriate for initial training and renewals.     

Obstetrics Advanced Life Support Full Course (One day) 

This class is exclusively for Atrium Health Teammates working in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, High Risk Postpartum areas 

Prerequisites include

  • Atrium Teammates only 
    • Include OB specific facility and department information on registration or registration may be cancelled
    • Use AH email address 
  • Performing high quality BLS skills
  • Reading and interpreting ECGs for ACLS
  • Understanding ACLS pharmacology
  • Completing ACLS pre-work and pre-course self-assessment with a passing score > 70%

 

 

Registration for Life Support Instructor courses is closed for student self-registration and is managed by CLSE team only. 

  • Instructor courses cover BLS, ACLS, and PALS 
  • To begin the application process, please download and complete the Instructor Candidate Application
    • A member of the CLSE team will review the application and follow up directly with next steps
  • Instructor courses are open to Atrium Health teammates and affiliates only. 
    • Utilize system email in all correspondence

This course is a supplement to the RQI ACLS provider online course and is required for teammates who complete the RQI ALS (ACLS) Prep curriculum, and optional for teammates who complete the Entry curriculum. 

 

The course provides high-performance team training with rapid cycle, deliberate practice for ACLS protocols. Teammates will practice hands on with medication preparation and resuscitation equipment including the defibrillator.

This course is a supplement to the RQI PALS provider online course and is required for teammates who complete the RQI PALS Prep curriculum, and optional for teammates who complete the Entry curriculum. 

 

The course provides high-performance team training with rapid cycle, deliberate practice for PALS protocols. Teammates will practice hands on with medication preparation and resuscitation equipment including the defibrillator.
