Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Skills Check is part two of the American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode BLS course or annual skills check for Atrium Health teammates. This course is appropriate for initial training and renewals.
The RQI program has been implemented at the following facilities and their associated free-standing EDs and LCI clinics: Carolinas Medical Center, Cleveland, Kings Mountain, Levine Cancer Morehead, Levine Children's Hospital, Levine Children's Specialty Center MCP, Lincoln, Med Center Air, Mercy, University City.
RQI is scheduled to be implemented:
- Third quarter at Anson, Lake Norman, Pineville, Union, Union West
- Fourth quarter at Cabarrus, Stanly, Resource Team
According to the Enterprise Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) v.1, all teammates who require life support education will maintain RQI eCredential(s) as outlined in their job descriptions, delineation of privileges, or as applicable to their program requirements.
- The RQI eCredential card will be the only card(s) accepted by Advocate Health for those enrolled in the RQI program.
- Instructor-led or outside courses, including non-Advocate Health RQI eCredentials, and classes at the Center for Life Support Education (CLSE) will not be accepted.
Teammates will be assigned required RQI learning by their leaders. There is no need to sign up for RQI.
Please proceed with registration if:
- Status expires before implementation at your facility
- If you need life support learning to onboard
- RQI will not be implemented in your area (i.e. outpatient areas not listed above)
