Atrium Health Acute Care Facilities, select outpatient and rehabilitation practices have transitioned to Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) for all BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials. 

Facilities on RQI ONLY ACCEPT RQI CREDENTIALS. Cards obtained with Instructor Led Training (ILT) do not meet Atrium Health RQI policy requirements. Email RQI_GCM@advocatehealth.org for assistance with RQI issues.

For Atrium teammates requesting an PALS course who work at a location not on RQI or may need ILT such as:

  • Ambulatory/outpatient practices, pain clinics, urgent care locations
  • Agency/Contract/Traveler personnel 
  • Remote care centers (Tele centers (Tele-stroke) Virtual Critical Care)
  • Do not have multifactor authenticator for RQI and have been approved for ILT by your manager

Note: To maximize efficiency PALS Full and Update/renewal courses are combined.  Applicable pre-work will be outlined in course confirmation email.
